1. When buying acreage or newly sub-divided land, make sure you’re able to get a planning permit for it. We can’t build a home without one!
2. Find out about the services and utility connections. Some out of town blocks may require additional planning and development to connect to all services.
3. Work with a builder that will customise their designs to maximise your view – with larger blocks available in this area, you’ll want to make the most of your land.
4. Understand your BAL Rating and make sure your building contract covers all requirements.
